Wayne Mohammed - Director

Wayne Mohammed was perhaps born to be a copywriter. As a child he spurned Captain Caveman, Top Cat and other standard kids’ TV fair in favour of watching and reciting adverts. If that didn’t alarm his parents, worse was to come.

During his formative years at school he took to carrying around a thesaurus and to asking the bigger, older kids what certain words meant before mocking them if they didn’t know.

Numerous black eyes, several years and a degree in English Literature later, he applied to a Sunday Times ad placed by a well known London agency looking for two trainee copywriters. Out of the 2000 people who applied, he was one of the two chosen.

From there, Wayne went onto work for a number of other agencies in London and across the North before becoming creative director at one of the North West’s leading business-to-business advertising agencies at the tender age of 27.

After that, he set up an agency, sold an agency, took a very brief foray into PR and then established PRECISION in 2009. During his time, he has worked on accounts as varied as O2, adidas, Coca-Cola Schweppes, Microsoft, Exxon Mobil, The Army, Marks & Spencers, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Siemens, Carlsberg Tetley, BUPA, Reebok and BASF.
